Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

This serves as a thick, nutritious smoothie – but in a bowl!

As the wheat biscuit absorbs most of the moisture from the milk, it’s much easier to eat it from a bowl!

Serves: 1

INGREDIENTS:


2 or 3 wheat biscuits of your choice (depending how hungry you are)

1/2 cup strawberries

1 cup soy milk

1 teaspoon vegan protein powder

2-3 ice cubes

Additional strawberries to top

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon buckwheat groaties

 

METHOD:


Place biscuits, strawberries, milk, protein powder and ice cubes into blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a small bowl and top with additional strawberries and chia seeds, or toppings of your choice!
